This is my very first ever trailer that I ever made. I made Old Yeller look like a horror flick. Please let me know what you think! This was my first editing project. The project was we were suppose to take an existing movie and make it look like something completely different. I made Classic Old Yeller look like a horror flick for fun. I LOVE Old Yeller! Edited using Adobe Premiere.

  • i thought it was a great trailer

    stupid rabies

  • This is awesome. Great job

  • However, bears and anything else that eats corpses gets it too. A man once at the raw flesh of a rabid squirrel and got it that way b/c of the blood or maybe the brains he ate and didn't cook it. Also, you don't handle birds of prey or crows b/c their saliva carries blood & tissue from the carcass of other animals. That's why in To Kill A Mockingbird Atticus said "Stay away from the dead dog, he's just as dangerous dead as he was alive!" B/C the virus enters the muscle tissues too!

  • The chain of rabies goes like this: Bats are the primary carriers. Bat flies out of cave, lands on cow in barn or near it, cow steps on bat & bat bits cow, cow is infected dies off in pasture unseen until later, coyote eats infected carcass, fights with dog and there you have it. The animals that carry it r usu bats, feral/stray cats, feral dogs, coyotes, wolves, dingos, hyaenas, cougars, badgers, and skunks. Raccoons usu up north but not usu in south. 'Fighting animals'=primary carriers

  • They'd cut its head off and sent it to the lab for testing and sure enough, it came back positive for rabies and she underwent shots in the stomach back then and they were painful but necessary. My uncle was later bitten by a rabid dog, too, believe it or not. It sucks in southern AR when people down there don't get their dogs' rabies shots. Too much woods, etc. to enforce the law, I guess. Get snake bit on our farm down there & you're SOL b/c help is too far away. I don't live there, tho

  • The ones with furious rabies (dogs) usually won't approach you, they really want to be left alone and in Cujo it was true they would hide under the porch or somewhere and they will die fairly quickly when signs r like that, in a few days, maybe 2 at the most. But the dumb rabies form in dogs, they waddle right up to you and then bite when u reach down to pet them. Ask my aunt. She was bitten by a rabid cocker. This dog had the dumb form but bit & got aggressive when she approached it.

  • One thing you all should now. There are a few dogs that will have the furious form of rabies, but most will usually have the 'dumb' form. Their hindquarters in the late stage will be caked up w/poop running around w/their mouths open & panting heavily like they got somethin' stuck in their throats. Also, blood comes out the anus. The cats or strays and ferals are what u really got to watch out for w/the furious rabies (common) b/c they run up your face & legs and scratch & bite like h*ll.
