@KiDD275 I don't know why but I don't like drawing in Photoshop at all. I find the pens and brushes very unresponsive. I always draw either in Sketchbook, Painter or Illustrator. However I use Photoshop a lot for everything else from coloring to color correction, it's a fantastic program. Just not for drawing (in my opinion).

I just thought I'd share this with people:
Anytime I watch a sketching video with music I don't like or no music at all, I mute the video and play this one on a separate tab:

Pen and paper are still the way to go. Cintiq second....and way down the line, an Intuos. Intuous are great for texture creation and the like.

@ShiftcommandH he used a drawing tablet: the "cintiq 21 ux" made by wacom

@nate18871 Just keep practicing and sketching. Also there are a bunch of good books out there. 'How to draw comics the marvel way' for example is good for beginners...see if you can take some figure drawing classes as well.

Hi, do you recommend getting a Cintiq? I have a Bamboo, but I find it takes a bit of getting used to because you're drawing on one surface and having it appear on another. I love comics/ graphic novels as an artform.

@howva Well, there is a bit of a price-difference which is why I worked with an Intuos for years, but yes absolutely I recommend the Cintiq as the top professional tool.

@dropj3 Sounds like you have to calibrate your tablet in your Wacom settings. As far as the cross hair this is in the preferences and general settings of each individual program.
