12 Aug 08. To celebrate VIBE Magazines 15th Year Anniversary they held a star studded black tie event at Cathedral in New York City. Performances on the night were from T.I, Swizz Beatz, Estelle, Ryan Leslie, Doug E Fresh, Brand Nubian and Naughty By Nature.
Treach was on the cover of the very first VIBE Magazine issue back in 1993.

There was alot over drinking and hip hop hoorayin going on..those were real nice times.kids enjoy now cos it won't last..duck education cos we ain't learning or growing together and never will..everyones on the make or got there eye on there eye on the prize ...

@nevawrong Rappers Delight was 79 man. Your lucky to be born early enough to experience any of this. First album I remember was the Eminem Show, while I was in 3rd grade. But I guess the fact that the media don't feed me with music makes me appreciate great hip hop like this even more.

1995 at age 24 - EAST & WEST COAST RAP was at its peak, & the NEWYORK club seen was HOT
2003 at age 31 - G-UNIT & EMENEM was on FIRE
but now in 2009 at age 37, HIPHOP IS DEAD, but im fortunate to be young in its best years :)
