  • The thing I dont get with asians is. They hate being stereotyped... but when they see other asians being themselves and taking on the western general culture they label them as "white washed" ignorance is a big bliss for those people.

  • @KhagarBalugrak The Asian community is just so highly race-sensitive and arrogant it's disgusting. They complain that they are misrepresented in the media all the time yet their easiest form of comedy comes from mocking blacks using the same ignorance they hate seeing pointed at themselves as I've seen. Of all forigners, asians have the most positive stereotypes yet are guillible enough to believe in all the negative ones about other races first. Their two-faced culture is why I feel no pity

  • @Volf99, No bigotry when there are facts. This set of videos is wrt the crude stereotyping of Asians in film. Same goes for decades of stereotyping of Blacks, Latinos, Indians, Native Americans and Arabs. While Jews do not run all of Hollywood (I never said as much), they do dominate the lists of major studio owners, producers, and directors & have nearly since inception. It is pathetic to point otherwise. When it is time to make the call, Asians are stereotyped & Jews sanctified. Indefensible!

  • @petenrita ......what....the...fuck. I'm Jewish(well half actually) and what the hell are you talking about? Not all of Hollywood is run by Jews, just like not all self defense places are run by Asians. But thanks for approaching bigotry with your own bigotry.

  • @superamerica1981 Cool story, bro.

  • Kunfu didn't come from Harlem...nigga please..besides most you kiss white azz anyways.

  • thats so true....on the streets of thailand, there where many old men with young thais

  • in fact, kim yoon-jin is a korean actress and her role in lost was a korean

  • As a mixed-race Asian American, I am as disturbed by the ignorance of the Asian community as racism from other races. Part of this comes from the new Asian immigrants who are highly race-sensitive. Stereotypes in Asia are 10x worse than in the US.

Yet the one race that perpetuates the Asian typecasting are the Jews. They run most of Hollywood & have always known that crude stereotypes can yield certain profits. And with America increasingly media oriented, it is media that has responsibility.

  • A very muddled message. There are Asian themes and Asian American themes. There is racism and ignorance. There is self-isolation and imposed distance. There is typecasting and pride. There is political self-segregation and there is being locked out.

As the Asian community itself evolves, much of the next couple of decades, Asian Americans will need to continue to evolve its own understanding of itself.
