  • yes they do great job I think my pal has them all, well worth it nice history!

  • Southport Videos released a 45 minute video of the story of the wreck and additional footage in 1992: The Wreck of the Car Ferry Milwaukee. That is before the zebra muscles covered it up/

  • It's a great video with much penetration of the now collapsing wreck its my favorite footage! we call it the Milwaukee drinking game as the guy with the mustache gets up-sits down and moves we drink wow its a drunk! but one heck of a video! with great footage! unlike mine with just a video camera in a part of PVC pipe only cost $20 for entire set up and cmera used off ebay! it works thou!

  • theres a ship wreck in milwake? never new that even btw how deep is the water?

  • there are several this is in about 120'

  • Are those zebra mussels all over the wreck?

  • I know what you mean about the narrator although it never occured to me to drink to each get-up-and-sit-down. the same company made a video about the Rouse Simmons - the Christmas Tree Ship. But a different narrator ....

  • 47 lives were lost. After leaving port, coast guard issued a class 9 gale force winds. Under each rail car there are openings that go down to the crews corridors. The openings should've had water tight gates. Instead they had metal wire gates up so water rushed right over the sea gate and into the flicker causing water to tilt the ship., cars weren't strapped in enough, and a rail car broke the sea gate, and the rest followed.

  • You are right! the sea gate is smashed, loose rail cars the cause.
