Carey Martell's The Ghost Finder : A Short Film (campy horror movie)

This is a campy supernatural film noir that I produced with other classmates for one of my film production classes. It is a short film version of a full feature film I hope to someday make.

Some of the effects were hastily made and aren't as good as they should be. I also ended up playing the protagonist; the full length film version obviously needs a real actor.

This movie was filmed and edited in one week of class time.

@eaccoman No you weren't! You were hot and you still are! By the way, one of these days we need to actually make the full feature the way I originally foresaw. We didn't have enough time for making the effects perfect and I couldn't find a better actor for the lead. Maybe in three years I'll have the resources to pull this film off.

Effects really need improvement.

Some of the acting is obviously fake.

Interesting, good script, good set, good cinematography.

Yeah, I'm a terrible actor. I think I make a much better director so when I make this into a full feature film (eventually) I'm gonna stay behind the camera.

The actress is hot! The rest, not so hot. Good effects and some nice camera work though.

man, what software you use? Was FCP? Pretty damned good. I, too, am a film maker and really into the supernatural. Keep up the good work, man!
