To help ease the economic squeeze on America's middle class families, Democratic lawmakers have introduced the Employee Free Choice Act (H.R. 800), a bill with 234 cosponsors that would help workers join together to bargain for better wages, benefits, and working conditions. Union workers earn 30 percent more, on average, than do nonunion workers, and union workers are much more likely to have healthcare, pensions and more generous paid time off.
The free choice act is an oxymoron, Steny is a bought and paid for mouth piece of the unions. Steny is a lier!

How does this apply for large corporate franchises
*oh no, a blockbuster/best buy/etc has formed a union. Hmmm, time to close shop and relocate.

My understanding of this legislation is that it would essentially take away the ability of workers to choose secretly whether or not they want to be part of a union. If this is the case they should be ashamed of themselves for doing this and actually naming it "Free choice" when it actually is the opposite. It looks like the unions are getting desperate.
One has to wonder if this Rep. actually knows what he is taling about.

The pendulum swings and the ball is in our court "the working class" will stand true. Without the sweat of their employees Corperate America is nothing, would produce nothing, and would be worth nothing. Whats wrong with a hard working man being able to buy a car, or maybe even a house, how about take his son or daughter to the doctor. Unions Need a little help from the Senate, it's our turn AND I MEAN THE WORKING MEN AND WOMEN OF AMERICA
