I've actually heard reports from those in Iraq that the war is over and al Qaeda is pretty much defeated and violence is down but the Iraqi government is not yet ready to take over and would be vulnerable to Iranian linked terrorists and al Qaeda linked terrorists finding safehavens in the country.

thank you representativepress, I agree wholeheartedly. I am half-arab so believe me when I say I care about the people there. I believe things with the US/UK coalition there is shit compared to Saddam, I would rather have saddam than a foreign occupation. I'm not saying he was good, he had alot of negative things about him but it was the lesser of two evils. If America really cared about other countries' democracy, it would not have embargoed Palestine after they ELECTED Hamas!!!

galaxydreams, does what the Iraqis want count to you? MOST want us to leave. The whole damn thing was a dirty deal. STAYING does more harm than good because they aren't stupid, they know there is no "good intention" to this illegal war.
