I lived in Boston during Burma's first life and I saw them live more times than I can count (somewhere between 75 and 100 is my estimate).
For three years if MoB was playing in a club I'd be there. I saw their farewell show at the Bradford Ballroom and 1983 and it was a bittersweet moment. A whole community of Burmaheads had sprung up in Boston over those three years and it was the end of the road.
I wish them well in their second life...the first one was unforgettable.
why does my comment rate such hate? It is a great song, full of everything that punk and later grunge great. To all of you that gave me thumbs down, ' lighten up Francis '
yep! when i saw them, they played my friends' livingroom. now they're doing concert arena type shows playing that power pop-esque rant that everyone on myspace digs. sold out, burned out, they're just not "punk" anymore is all.
