Homemade LED kitchen timer based around the 555 Timer IC
I built this around 5 years ago before i started using PIC microcontrollers, 2 digit display shows number of minutes counted not very accurate, but designed as a cooking timer.

this project has the following ICs
1x 555 Timer
2x 4015 shift registers
1x 4017 decade counter
2x 4026 7seg display counter

2x 4049 Invertor buffer
2x 4050 buffer ic
