play this video and start with the thickest string which is known as the low E. turn the machine head until it matches the tone for the first E that plays here. do that for each subsequent string from thickest to largest. A, D G, B, e. New strings will go out of tune often so re-tune every 15 Mins or so until they settle down.

Ok.I JUST got my guitar for Christmas and I CANT TUNE IT!!! None of the videos work! They don't help at all and its driving me crazy! how am i can I learn how to play if my guitar isn't in tune??
