It's a lot of unusable video tape at $4 a roll. 29 hours of unusable tape stock is $116 which is a tiny fraction of what film would cost.

to a 1 hour film. Thats an average figure.I once had to shoot 75:1.

this is really accurate though, so much footage is needed to really piece together something decent
