Epic Hunter Quest 2/4: Burning Steppes

A quick runthrough of the Klinfran encounter in the epic hunter quest.

This was filmed with fraps back in World of Warcraft Patch 1.6, which was the release of BWL. My hunter had only a few epics at the time, but everything else was pretty much 55+ blue.

When I was recording the videos, I wanted to show that you didn't need a whole ton of buffs or anything special to beat the demons. In this attempt, the only thing I had on was monkey.

*NOTE: It has been pointed out to me that I say "stun" several times, but I'm actually dazed not stunned. I'm pretty sure everyone else already knew what I meant, but I thought I'd mention it.

Before I get a ton of "lawl nub" posts, I have a few 60's and was raiding "cutting edge" content with everyone else back when AQ40 was released. I stopped raiding before we got C'thun, and now only play casually.

The quest starts from a quest item (Ancient Petrified Leaf) that drops in Molten Core off of Major Domo (second last boss); level 60 required.

Why don't you use a pet?

The quest requires level 60 to start it; this is back when 60 was the level cap. Doing this quest at anything higher would be a joke.

These demon fighting quests were the best quests in the game ever, hands down. Unlike the typical kill 15 of this mob no skill involved type quest, these demon quests made you LRN2play. These were the ultimate challenge, and had the ultimate reward. Blizzard is doing everyone a disservice if they don't create quests like this for every class.

@funkmastav If you use a pet to fight, he will run away.

no pet allowed, no one can help you otherwise he will dispawn. only can get buff before the fight and use potions in the fight. If you don't know how to do it he will dispawn. he spawn at every 4 hours I think and at a specific place.

You can have a lvl 80 to help you now... i mean kill it for you then you loot, u only have to watch
