There's a lot of mystery and myth concerning dual mass flywheels. No rocket science needed; just skill and a very specialized machine that does only one thing, and does it very well: A flywheel resurfacing machine with a dual mass adapter.

We have in-house flywheel machining capabilities. We are the only transmission and clutch specialists in Utah that does. We successfully save 9 out of 10 flywheels.

This particular flywheel is out of an Audi.

  • This dual mass flywheel came out of an Audi. Yes, it's a common myth that you can't remachine flywheels. This is true if you don't have in-house machine shop capabilites. All you can do is buy a new flywheel. However, we are able to save 9 out of 10 flywheels.
