A message to the tea party movement. If the tea party movement is going to succeed in the long run it needs a philosophical base. More specifically it needs a moral base. In the book Atlas Shrugged John Galt lays out a moral code in his speech which is consistent with supporting a limited government. If we are going to succeed in turning America back to the principles of individual rights, on which it was founded on, John Galt, and more specifically the revolutionary ideas that he advocates is our greatest weapon.

On top of my previous comment i'd like to add that i'm finished with our little debate because you have offered me nothing in the form of constructive criticism or anything for that matter. You are a bag of blabbering hot air with nonsense views. I think you should leave stuff like this to educated people and just turn up on election day.

@ChrisEarl102 I do not care for you opinion nor agree with your opinion that taxes,to pay for proper government functions,can only be collected via extortion.and by the way in the beginning there was no income tax only voluntary tariffs.you can quit whenever you like, all I was asking is one question,which you continue to evade. what gives you the right to initiate violence on people via tax or whatever, to enforce you ideas?nothing does, that's the answer.

@ChrisEarl102 You cant have a right to something that someone else has to produce for you.Free healthcare for you means someone else has to pay.If you get stuff and someone else works for it, that is called slavery.I believe free industries produce better services and that free industries are therefore in my interest.What gives you the right to use violence to force you beliefs on me?

At some point of time everyone had outright slavery.would you also have said back then,oh currently everyone has slaves,so your argument against slavery is not valid.offcourse not.you have no right to inslave.so what gives you or anyone the right now to extort money via taxation?

@avgleandt You really can't expect not to pay taxes in the modern world. Was it not Ben Franklin one of your founding fathers that said "In this world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes". Thats why your argument is invalid because your currently going to be paying for many things you don't agree with. Does this mean your boycotting taxes because you don't agree how you moneys spent ? I don't think so...

@avgleandt I'm from England. We all pay for the NHS via income tax, VAT (value added tax) and national insurance which about £6-12 each month from your pay cheque. What might surprise you is that public opinion in England fully backs our NHS because 90% of the population uses it.

So of course your going to be reprimanded if you don't pay your taxes exactly like if your caught for tax avoidance in the USA. So your argument there is invalid.
