why is it so bad that her hair curls naturally??!! there r a lot of ppl whos hair curls naturally. I mean, mine does a little bit. but thats more of a natural wave....but still. and is this Jane Eyre the movie? if it is, is the 1 girl who this clip is about jane?? cuz i've never seen this movie.....

I saw this on TV when it originally aired.....the gist of the conversation is the Headmaster asks why this girl is allowed to indulge in vanity by wearing curly hair. The teacher replies that the girl's hair curls naturally. He asks for scissors and responds that it is not their job to comply with nature, and proceeds to cut off her hair. He then orders that her curls be burned.
