....wow.... I don't think i would make it past school level.

to corroco, sorry if i confused you. I just gave 2 examples of regular questions at my school level. The examples I gave are still more difficult than the ones in the video. I don't mean to brag, but I creamed the competition in my middle school both years.

You found those questions hard?

It's too bad they didn't have an audience since it makes the winner feel better. I won in front of an audience of about 500 people.

you too. good job.

Don't make fun of this. This is my school too and we are smarter than we appear. Isn't that right samboTerror22?

This was sooooo depressing. I thought that they would do better. the questions were fairly easy, especially the question about the Mississippi river. I got in second at the state level for 2008 (new jersey). don't believe me? its in the new jersey herald and some oher sites. i don't mean to brag, but i am so mad. geography is important. it's just so sad that some 12 year olds don't know all the capitals of the 50 states of the U.S. when they live there!!
Totally! Questions were so much harder when I was doing school level in 2006 and 2007. We had questions like "The Connecticut River splits Vermont from which other state?" and "Name the sea east of the Korean peninsula". Great job with how far you got. I won both years at school and made it to state. Made 5th in state 2006 and won 2007. My name's still under NC 2007 winner on the NatGeo Bee website.

Only in America would a kid who thinks Iraq borders India to the north win his school's geographic competition....why are we so bloody ignorant regarding the rest of the world??
