Arlen is the greatest, no one can touch him, he can do it all, with feel, soul, everything. His book the "Masters of the Telecaster" should be on every pickers shelf.
The best, i can say no more, what qan influence.

Hey Smudger92, Cooder taught Macchio NOTHING...Arlen Roth worked with Macchio for 2 months before the film, 4 months during the film, and created and played most of what he "faked" playing in the film...then HIS credits were out and out stolen from him when the movie came out...read his website, he has it all there......even Steve Vai in a GP interview said Arlen's credits got ripped off!
