A long test of the recently acquired mold spore. This particular pedal is very rare to come by. Due to time constrictions, this video had to be edited (poorly :P and in a hurry). In this video I show the 3 different wah effects (based on bass) white room, voodoo, and shaft. I start out with voodoo on the clean channel. Then I later move to White room, then shaft. I enjoy voodoo the most, because it's the perfect ballance between bass, and thinning out the tone. Last but not least, the mold spore. I should have elaborated more on it, but, I couldn't, for it was around 11:30 in an apartment building. Hence the low distortion volume (sorry). This wah is very fun to play with, easier than everyone says it is, AND IT GLOWS IN THE DARK! If you can get your hands on this wah... well... good luck in trying. Advice: spend your every waking hours on ebay / craigslist, and be willing to shell out 4-500 bucks.
Equipment: I ran this through a; guitar-- boss tu-2-- boss cs-3-- mold spore wah -- line 6 fm4-- amp-- alesis midiverb II-- digitech control 8 midi pedal.
I would like Bunhole 30, sofun 555, for prompting me : 3
This pedal is currently being used in Buckethead's set up.

  • hello Metallicface!

i was just wondering if the ring modulater setting is the wiered affect that buckethead uses in jowls??????

  • jowls was created long before snarling dogs was invented.

  • ok, i'm 100% sure buckethead uses a crybaby 535q... i've seen it in his pedal setup...

  • yes, you are correct. He used the dunlop crybaby 535Q from 2000 - late 2006

  • Hey bud! Really nice video! I really enjoy your playing... I really have to know how do you do that thing at 4:06 ...Is it chicken picking? It seems like a slapping technique with chicken picking or something like that... Please, I really would like to know how to do that!!!

Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • you should of played star wars!

  • have you heard of the snarling dogs very-tone? and is it any good

  • this pedal wa sused by buckethead to creat the chicken riff at 3 minute in jordan :P

  • i own this pedal but it won't work with my amp for some reason. only one of the LED eyes illuminates, but that still indicates that the battery is good (should be, i just put a new one in). for some reason i can't get any sound out of the amp

  • Nice video 3ucketheadJuggal0!

I was just wondering if there was another cheaper, and more easy to come by pedal like this one?

I love Buckethead's style but I'm not on the budget to buy this pedal so I'm looking for a substitute for the time being.

    Once again great video! =D

  • Thank alot man \m/
