Thanks for the preview. On her Facebook page, Patti likens the manufacturing malfunction to the recent Super Bowl seating debacle. From my perspective it's an overstatement, of course, she might feel different. All I know is my order is on hold til May, but for die-hard fans (in this case a Scorpio), we can wait.

@soap1919jt Sorry you made the trip out for nothing. Shanachie Records typically records albums very quickly. But some of the tunes Patti already recorded because they were intended for other projects, so they've been around for a couple of years.
This latest delay was because of a "manufacturing" issue at the label, whatever that means exactly. But I think Patti was advised, hence the push back to May to coincide with some other things she's going to be doing.

Hi Dar,
Thanks for the update. In watching your post yesterday, I somehow missed that detail. I went to Amoeba Records in Hollywood last night thinking that the album would be available. Of course, to my disappointment, it was not. They told me the same thing you're telling me here, that the release date was pushed back until this May.
This is the second time the release date has been pushed back. Patti must be quite frustrated.
Thanks again, and take care.

@soap1919jt Thanks for your comment. As I noted, the release date has been pushed back. Now it's supposed to come out on May 17. It's worth the wait though in my opinion. :-)

Thank you very much for sharing. Patti just sold herself another album.
Thanks again for the info, Dar. This certainly helps to settle my concerns.
By the way, I happen to be a fellow Virgo. We Virgoes tend to be die-hard Patti Austin fans.
