This is a compilation of pictures taken of our visit to the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida, in May of 2006. (no audio)

Included are photos of the Mars lander, launch areas, the Apollo launch re-creation and Apollo Saturn rockets, the command and service modules, the Lunar Lander, the Lunar vehicle, the "Rocket Garden", the Space Shuttle, and the space station.

Enjoy!

  • Do you think this is worth going to when im on my holiday there with my family ?

  • I think it's a great place for families. There were a lot of kids there when I visited and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

  • At 2:12 - I thought the Stars were always supposed to be on the left when displaying the flag.

  • Generally, I think what you say is correct. But, I think in the case of the flag on the body of the shuttle, I think it is imaged that way to simulate the position of the flag if the shuttle was in forward motion and "wind" was blowing the flag back. You know, when you hold up a flag (on a pole) into the wind, it will blow "back" toward you, and look just like the flag on the shuttle. At least, that's my guess.

  • Just came back from florida, we visited there, take the full tour?

Great day out, also go to the astronaut's hall of fame

  • i am going here in feb for july 2011 i hope there is some flights then

  • great video, I would love to go there sometime))) let's just hope this economy doesn't effect the space program to much ))))

  • Fantastic place.A must visit for anyone visiting central Florida. The Astronaut Hall of Fame is included in the Visitor Center admission price.Without question, the best value for the dollar anywhere around Orlando. For those who have never seen a live shuttle launch,it is a experience you won't forget.Think of one big backyard BBQ with 15,000 friends, and the greatest fireworks show on earth.
