I shot this video. Jack was telling me before I started filming about his situation. He refused to take BP money. It amounts to nothing compared to what has been done to the industry. Now, compare Jack's experience with the testimony of an unamed official in Grand Isle who claims shrimpers are pulling in $200K catches...the fishing is good...he claimes to eat fish every day. Hmm...me thinks someone lies...and it ain't Jack.
Check out what nancy and John are doing at my channel.
@TheWaterlily2012 cont. their whole lives. They are either in the business or are living off the business, like by having a restaraunt or tiki. Maybe they just love living near the water, because that's where they grew up. I can't even imagine having to move from that beautiful place. I am so grief stricken simply because what has been done to the glorious ocean, the GLORIOUS OCEAN. No one realizes what has been done. They just treat the seas and people like a liability.
@TheWaterlily2012 What do you expect them to do? Do you understand anything about people and their way of life? If you have a dairy farmer who has equipment, land, and cattle, what's he going to do with it, that fast, even if it's all clean and healthy, in a good market? Now, just imagine...if it was, like covered with toxic poison, and his cows were all producing toxic milk, but he's still supposed to sell it.
These people have been living on the beautiful salty smelling ocean and marshes.....
unfortunately, i am living one hundred miles from the gulf in southern alabama.
i have no money to get out of here either . its a nightmare. i mean BP has commited genocide just as if they sent in their own army to destroy the ocena, all wildlife and
ofcourse, the people. now that i hear about the corexit and the synthia. i lam just
astounded. BP is using the gulf as a genetic experiment. EVIL pure
even though i am not directly on a beach, i dont feel safe even 100 miles away.
Yes, I know it's hard to leave everything behind but it's a matter of life and death. Some had the instinct to leave as soon as it happened. For those who have stayed until now I think it's too late, they have taken in too much poison already. It's called mass murder.

This is coming from NE states: "American" catch shrimp, 16/lb is selling for $5.
Mostly pre cleaned, shelled, cooked and flavored even cheaper, sometimes $4/lb. What's that telling ya?
