Just to clarify we are Maori's from New Zealand - however the show we were presenting that night is called People of the Pacific - taking the audience on a Journey we believe our ancestors took many years ago. This particular dance is called the Fa'ataupati (mosquito slapping dance) which is a very big problem in Samoa, (the mosquitos that is). We journey thru, Tahiti, Hawaii, cook Islands, Samoa and our homeland Aotearoa, New Zealand

They maybe from New Zealand but they are not "Moris from nz" they are islanders from New Zealnd. Maori do not perform like that we are diffrent from the islanders very diffrent from them islanders.
