Hey I love this review! I am looking into a purchase of this bike so this is just phenomenal!!! Three Questions Though; Is the "gel" seat you are talking about the stock seat that comes with this model?? The mirrors I hear vibrate pretty heavily, how does this affect safety in city and highway riding (visibility of cars behind you)??? heard the bike has a tendency to stand up in the curves if any braking is applied, and then drop down abrutly once released, pose any probs for unknown twisties?

How much time do you have - these bikes are completely different. One refined, one kind of crude. One fast, one not. Both have good suspension. The BMW a bit of a windshield, the Buell not. The BMW takes very little the getting used to, the Buell a lot of time to figure out. Do you like vibration, totally different. Comfort, the BMW very god, the Buell grate. Longevity? Can't tell you about the Buell. The Buell will use some oil, the BMW not. Maybe this will help you, maybe not. :)

Thanks! The stock seat is the best in the business, a little wide for shorter riders. The bike vibrates like a HD, so the mirrors vibrate - just fine at speed. Doesn't stand up at all in the curves under braking! Must be a different bike.
