Stalling the glider unknowingly right before landing.
The glider is not just a vehicle which you can sotp at any time. It has to have air flow.
Killing the airflow will punish you dearly !

Look at the trailing edge of the wing on the right side. He was pulling brake way too soon, slowing and softing the wing, losing cell pressure. Probably trying to land the road, but at what cost. Remedy: come in hot, with speed that pressurizes the wing, then avoid puling brakes until ready for the flare. Looks like an advanced, high-aspect ratio wing, the pilot should know all this stuff.

How can you fly with the brakes under your ass?? I'm pretty concerned about the quality of the average pilot!
that's the basic of flying: let the wing fly!!
