Old style Kyoto and Gion - May 9, 2009

It's been a long time since I posted my last video. There's been tons of stuff going on here recently. Kagoshima got 12 new ALTs this year, we had some festivals to go to, I passed my ikyu test in Iaido, and we did the Hayato sailboat race. Videos will be coming at least once a week again

This is picking back up from our big Golden Week trip. These photos are from one of the old parts of Kyoto and the Gion area where people go to spot geisha and maiko

Cool! The Lonely Planet Guide has a good walking tour that takes about half a day to a day and takes you through some of Kyoto's must-see places. This video is from the ni-nen zaka, san-nen zaka, and Gion areas
