The movie varies from the novel, yes, but that still does not take away from the lovely score or the acting. I read the novel before watching the movie years ago when I was young and I personally qualms about the differences between the two. Each is enjoyable and I love both.

Just read the book, and I simply loved it!! Can't wait to see the movie...hope they didn't ruin the story like they usually do with movies. I recomend the book to everyone, 500 pages in 5 days...you just can't stop reading it.

Having just finished the book (again), I decided to give the movie another go, but I remembered correct; each and every character was cast wrong, they actually managed to screw up the most "filmable" book ever.
