STOP Outsourcing Customer Service!! 'Made In America' -@TonyaTko Rants

After having yet ANOTHER awful foreign customer service experience I begin to wonder are we going to come together, will there be a widespread "Made In America" campaign or will we truly fall like Rome?

well, actually, it IS the companies fault, because THEY are the ones doing the outsourcing, they outsourc to save money, it is very much the companies fault because they are the ones making these deceptions at OUR expense. you should file a complaint with the company. BTW it sounds like they are out sourcing to foren companies that can't be held accountable for their actions and conduct.

@RascalCoyote Well its a vicious cycle because if one company has a toaster for $14.99 and another has it for $10.00, you're going for the cheaper toaster... so its either cut costs or cut yourself off from customers. But after seeing what outsourced customer service is like, if a company advertised that they have American Csr Service, Im sure ppl wouldnt mind paying a little extra

OMG i was about to make a comment SLIGHTLY going off about america not being a country lol but THANK YOU SOO MUCH for making the statement towards the end about all the countries that are part of america canada,mexico, brazil ext, SMGDH at all the people that think/look @ me crazyfor thinking of those as american countries lol because they are in america LMAO

If those jobs were going to Americans, especially U.S. Americans, more people would be making money to be putting back into the economy and the inflation would probably go down a little bit. Be careful... you could be accused of being racist for this! That's the big one these days. It's how they get people to be quiet... and it's a bigger scheme than you could possibly imagine. I've heard of some crazy things up in the government that would blow you away. The Anti-Americanism is here at home too

so true!!! I recently had a bad experience too with XM Radio. I ended up not buying their services purely because they outsource their call centre to the Philippines.

why not give the jobs here to those who are collecting unemployment. I BELIEVE the department of labor should get involved and our government should enforce a more stringent sunction regarding outsourcing.

look at the stats of unemployment and look how many jobs are outsourced .....

i certainly agree, it's all about the bottomline & forget about the customer satisfaction. i swear i know how irritating it is to speak to someone with a very heavy accent and you have to repeat yourself a dozen times, and when they reply to you, it sounds like they are chewing their words, or like mumbling even though they were under british colony for the longest period of time and has a wide vocabulary, but still they have this very heavy domestic accent !!!

@RascalCoyote and one of them broke the law regarding CPNI usage at the phone company. Not only did AT&T Outsourced DSL tech support break federal law regarding CPNI but they gave my telephone number and billing name (which is different from my listing name) to the scammer.

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but , I have never had credit card fraud until America started outsourcing. I have had hundreds of dollars charged to my credit card to places in India and Europe. Call me paranoid but I truly believe it's these outsourced countries that have our information and certain individuals decide to make fraudulent charges on your card. The same thing happened to my husband. Has this happened to anyone else?

The big US companies and very rich people are all Anti-American in their actions, American only by their rhetoric. They don't care a bit what happens to the country they only see their profits and being patriotic (aka putting money back into the system/creating jobs in US) isn't profitable for them. The problem is they have the power and are grown too big now. This isn't only USA's problem but manifests itself in the largest scale at the moment.. "Moneymen" should never have power over Nations.
