Bar Scene from Derek Chang Man-Gon's remake of Robert Rodriguez' "El Mariachi".
This film is not available for purchase on DVD except from "cultcine.com".
We have an Anamorphic Widescreen DVD for sale with English Subtitles.
The Hong Kong ripoff of Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi has a better plot, better acting, but is equal in terms of believablity. Leon Lai is the guitar-strumming traveler in Mexico who's mistaken for a Chinese hitman. He seeks refuge with Veronica Yip, who turns in the film's best performance as a bar owner who's mourning the loss of her brother. Sadly, the film's requisite evil bastard is out for the hitman's blood, and wants to marry the bar owner too.
(The chinese name of this movie is "cactus", for some reason in english they called the movie "run".)

This is beautiful. I own the ORIGINAL VHS copy of "El Mariachi" as well as the US release of it on DVD and this looks by far like a really good remake of it. I will try to get this on DVD if it's available.
