  • on a smith machine the bar weighs exactly 15 pounds, 30 pounds lighter than a regular bar with is 45 pounds, i subtracted the diff thats why its 455, otherwise i would have been claiming 485, which is what this same weight would be on a regular bench....

  • forget the range of motion limit on a smith machiene its easier on the smith cause the bar weighs less. ive been training for a long time. i can flat bench around 500. on the smith machiene i rep 5 plates for 4 cant do that on the flat ive tried. only time i use the smith is when all the flats are taken. trust me this is the case, u can look it up online.

  • @tetchyorangutan yeah thats y we added extra weights 2 compensate

  • although i am impressed, and this dudes massive, i would have been twice as impressed had he done it on a normal bench...

  • @deliveryboy1 he's done it b4 but he has a bad shoulder so he can only use smith machine now

  • @Ludichris8531 using a smith machine isnt cheating, its safer than a regular bench cus the bar goes strait up and down so u can focus on lifting the weight instead of wasting energy trying 2 keep it from wobbling.

some smith machines have counter weights 2 make the bar a little lighter but we added weight 2 compensate, if thats wut u mean

  • Good stuff, but that's not 455. On the smith machine, the bar doesn't weight anything. Also, you don't have to handle the stability of the bar and weight when you use the smith machine. Still, Good Power!

  • yeah buddy. that doesnt count, shoulder injury, than stick to dumbbells. rehab your shoulder dont load up a bunch of weight on a smith and try to get street cred.

  • fuck this fat mexican

  • @RebelWrestler45 if that is what you believe than your a very stupid person who doesnt know the first thing about lifting...smiths machines arent even made for benching, they are really just for squatting for people with shitty squat form it is much easier to bench on a smiths machine end of story

  • @RebelWrestler45 aaaahhh, yea ok... smith machine is a lot easier. on regular bench you'll use a lot more smaller stabilizer muscles that you don't need to use on the smith machine. put your max weight you can do on a regular bench, on a smith machine, and you'll do 5 more than you can on a regular bench... i dont know what proper diagonal fulcrum power is, but i do know how to bench press... i can do 425 on a on smith, where i can only do 365 on regular bench...

  • @deliveryboy1 Smith machine benching is actually harder, as it doesn't allow you to properly tuck the elbows, and drive the weight up in the proper diagonal fulcrum of power.

  • @aeron159 nice, tell him good luck on his recovery...
