Samsung Galaxy Nexus video recording sample and issue

When recording video with the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, there appears to be some kind of automatic image stabilisation.

It's quite tricky to demonstrate, but in this video I am wobbling the camera gently. This seems to trigger a stabilisation filter which causes the video to blur and the perspective of the image to change.

OMG.. thank you for creating a video that reliably demonstrates this issue!

I hope that someone at Google / Samsung sees this. Maybe they can issue a software fix for this.

so let me get this straight. this video is from 25th november, and until today 29th february, there STILL is no fix for this?

was going to purchase nexus but now i'm completely turned off, will go to xperia s or an htc.

but thge deshaker filter in virtual dub sould also have a woobling correction for specific models...

But I think this phone can have a great image quality when fixed in a tripod ;) if recording a 1080p event, it has great image deail, and if you don't need to move the camera very fast, it can produce great video (I suppose)..
