Re the "gateway theory" of drug addiction. If there's anything that could be considered a "gateway drug" it's sugar itself. Recall ploughing thru Hollowean booty back when a child, how we tended to feel sick yet keep up the hand to mouth, hand to mouth. Of course that's our 1st addiction, all the more insidious as it's socially sanctioned. What's then the next thing we put from hand to mouth, cigs, alcohol, a crack pipe? It depends on your mileau & your trauma history

definitely a superfood! It opens circulation and brain patterns; fantastic. A little bit everyday!

To many people that dessert would make a healthy breakfast. I actually had a similar idea for the past half year, but have not done it yet. Mine was to use cherries instead of blueberry and instead of cashew I'd use coconut butter, colostrum and mesquite. I like the idea of the dates in the base with the almonds. Hadn't thought of that, but what was that you poured in the base mix - cough syrup?

Oh hello! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

Raw chocolate should be everyday! Or almost everyday, of course it's sweet but so is fruit and you have fruit everyday? I mean fruit is a dessert!! It's the same thing, there is no "dinner dessert breakfast lunch" in the way we are supposed to eat. We are just supposed to eat, if that makes sense!

Raw cashews are not actually raw, just so you guys know. They're just steamed as opposed to being roasted, because completely raw cashews are very toxic.

Raw cacao: it's a superfood in my book -- it has converted so many people to the raw food diet! And I can eat it without problems, though it's a bit too stimulating at some times.
Those who r against raw cacao doesn't get the raw food diet: it's all about abundance! Abundance of greens, abundance of raw fats, abundance of fruit! Abundance of nutrients simply! Juices! Smoothies! Blended salads!.... And: raw cacao! lol!
Well, anything that makes you stay full of energy...

Did you soak the cashews first? I recommend it so they can be properly digested.

It's not that expensive, but it's not cheap if that makes sense :-)
You can find it at some health food stores and online, the best thing about the raw powder is that it contains many more nutrients than the processed cocoa powder.
