There appears to be a theme developing here. You recently uploaded "Goodnight Vienna", now we have "You will remember Vienna". Are we to be treated to "Vienna, city of my dreams" in the near future?
One of my few L.P's contains a selection of Strauss waltzes. Any tune which recaptures the magical charm of old Vienna, like your latest upload, is to be applauded. Thank-you.

"when your race is run, whether lost or won, you will remember Vienna"; what a lovely line - there are more important things in life than 'the race' - music like this is so good for lifting the spirits out of the gloom and tiredness of day to day life. Like you, this was one of my first dance band discs tho' mine is courtesy of Mr Debroy Somers band! How about putting up the other side some time? A REGAL record indeed!

These old records mean so much don't they. I have never been one for 'the race'.

Thanks Richard, such a beautiful waltz this. The begining sounds just like a Talkie too.

knowing the whole history of this machine makes it even more special. Restoration jobs are time consuming 'labours of love', but good luck!.
