@alexeyfiji. Its not exactly Bislama. Bislama is the Creole which everybody can speak. This is a certain language from one island. There are so many lanuguages; each of the 83 islands has their own language and they also vary depending on which part of a certain island your in. So everyone is definitely more than bilingual. As for me, a Ni-Van, I can speak English, French, my "island" language and can understand certain words in other languages. Just some info from a local. :3

@knowledgeispowerfful Vanuatu is a group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. It used to be called the New Hebrides. Google it and you will find out heaps. There is an active volcano on one of the islands but no earthquakes to my knowledge. We fly from Brisbane in Australia and it takes about 3 hours.

This string band is Torotua from Tongoa Island. They are based in Port Vila. This video was shot on Tongoa. The boat Harlice is from Tongoa too. For more info visit JustPacific Trading website.
