  • Yes say no to the free trade with Colombia to let the whole world to know how bad friend USA is with countries that shows frienship. The propaganda againt Uribe is created by the leftist.

  • Uribe has his hands soaked in the blood of innocents. it matters little what approval ratings he has, he's still a criminal, a liar, and paraco fascist who runs a narco-mafia state at the behest of the Colombian oligarchy.

  • .....? I was talking about how you go with marx and che, which makes the discussion moot point.

  • I guess so! Colombians do struggle and so does the rest of the world. There is no perfect country and no perfect system anywhere in the world and in Latin America there is no equality. Everyone has a story to tell and their stories should be heard, not suppressed. You suppor Uribe and many don't. I do not support my prime minister, but many Australians do, does that mean I do not count and do not have a say??

  • You said that para did not exist anymore??? Now you are saying they do and are displacing people. So are these people you have met not afraid of Paramilitary? Were they happy to be displaced? And if you are going to tell me they were paid to get off, where do they live now? In a clean apartment, with a job, food and equal rights as you have? Do you get my point now??? If they were paid to get off, why are they living in slums, jobless and struggling to survive and scared to speak up???

  • well then..... i guess the discussion then turns to an unending point...

  • Yes, ive met people displaced by paramilitary.....your point?

  • I think I will call marx!! Or maybe even Che!

  • If you have spoken to so many different people as you say, you would have definantly met some displaced people by paramilitary. It is quite impossible not to.

  • heh, good life?...i'll admit im not living under a bridge, but i don't have "the good life" (which is more possible i think in australia for that matter). I've lived in all Colombia, and I even was in san agustín when the DMZ time: I've seen it, ive talked and lived with different people.

Now FARC are relegated to Cauca, very little huila, and borders with ecuador and venezuela (guess why?). And youre saying that, well then not all, but THE MAJORITY live in FEAR?

  • meh?, again, you're generalizing: how the ***** do you know that "behind their smiles" is that?......and this goverment terror....WHAT goverment terror. You see a pinochet? a videla? a stroessner? a geisel? I don't see the ICC going after him, or direct accusations from a party that isn't tainted with political ends. And damn, if you started with coca-cola, well what then, macdonalds? Burger king? "imperialism"? go call marx

  • There is a reason why people ar e discplaced, they don'y displace themselves. They are rich on their lands and poor when they have to move to citys and live without natural resources, education and community support.
