i just bout a 47 h an well how do you engage that fly wheel?

If the tractors both in neutral, have wheels chocked, a belt start like this actually safer than crank starting.
If the engine misfires or seizes the worst that will happen is the belt will be thrown off.
If the engine is difficult to start it will flatten the battery if you try a key start.
A belt can spin the engine over endlessly if need be.

My dad used this same "crossed belt" system to start our Farmall H years ago.
The "power source" at the time was a Ferguson TED-20.

@NebraskaCowman Belting works great. I always start my sleepers that way.

That's a great running H you have there, good find!
I started my I-4 up for the first time by having my brother it with our John Deere while I was riding and operating the clutch.

No too dangerous. As long as you keep clear of the belt. And if you did get caught in the belt it would likely fly off the pulley. Might get an arm broke or something. When I first started and reached in to engage the pulley the belt was not turning yet. I had to go back to the Allis to start it and then I was on the opposite side of the tractor from the belt.
