@Speakyourmind... unfortunately Racism is only racism when it works to harm and deny a certain group of people in order to benefit the group who exercises such an invention. Racism is a European invention intended to give Anglo-Saxons an uplifted image... in short, black people can't be racist... because we don't glean the benefits from it, we can be reactionary, thus we are... and the term "reverse racism" doesn't work...

I'm not sure what the outcome of the lawsuit was, but as a resident of Louisiana(but this is about three hours from where I live), I feel he was wrong, but I don't believe the suit was necessary. They found another JP who granted them a license,, who I say forget about that guy. Had he gone out of his way to see that they did not get married, then okay, yes, sue, but that wasn't the case. Again, I say forget about that guy.

i didn't appreciate how you said most white people are racist there are just as many black people who are racist then there are white people. I am not againist the whole interracial couples cause i am in one, but that is very opinion wise...every race has a group that is racist not just white people.

i don't think the government should have any say at all who marries who. Marriage shouldn't even be recognized by the government (tax benefits and shit). Church should be separated from state.
