@tannhaus My boss is extremely Catholic. She is constantly proselytizing her religion on others. When I left to visit my parents in IL, she wouldn't let me leave her office until she blessed me. I took it as a compliment that she cared so much, but I know if she ever knew I was a Hellenist or a Witch that she would flip. In South American culture, people get freaked out about Witches. Not a jab at our neighbors to the south, just an observation. If I ever get outed at work, I'm gone
@BlueFireWitch I think a lot of Fundamentalists think they are persecuted precisely because they've never had to live persecuted. They don't know what it's like for police to interrupt a church service, assault their members, trash their church and tell them "their kind" isn't welcome in that city. They don't know what it's like to be afraid of cops pulling the over to attack them...or bubba with a bat...or the boss with a pink slip....all because their religion is slandered.
@tannhaus Well I can say that it's gotten way better for Pagans in the last 10 years, but I still can't be honest about my religion in most public places, I still got worried when social services asked me about my religion in the hospital. I got nervous when my nosy boss wanted to see my tatoos. I got nervous because truth about my religion could inevitably hurt my livlihood. I hate it. I want to be nonchallant about my religion like the next person.
@BlueFireWitch Yeah. I've gone out of my way before many times to defend Pagans...and it's not because I think Paganism is so great. Paganism has problems just like any religion. Granted, I do have a soft spot in my heart possibly... but eh...I've got history lol. But, the thing is, I HATE people slandering and lying. I will defend Christianity. I will defend Paganism. Hopefully, people remember and defend me. But, if words go unchallenged, knives, guns and bats aren't far behind.
@BlueFireWitch No, because what you call "evidence", I call "bullshit". If you buy it, GREAT! I'm not so easily fooled. You put your trust in tannhaus' interpretation of writings of a ridiculous lunatic if you want, I would't trust tannhaus to be able to read a wrist watch for me. Open mind? Hardly. He has proven that time and again.
@tannhaus You'd think that a religious person would be up in arms to see this type of persecution. I actually had a guy on Shaz's video say that Pagans and occultists aren't persecuted and that both of us have a persecution complex. Yeah, that's why every pagan and occultist I've seen go through a custody battle has had their beliefs scrutinized.
@BikerBry Your reason is all the evidence that we've presented to you. If that's not reason enough nothing will be. It's like you keep suggesting that the sky is red and no matter how much we tell you that it's blue you refuse to open your eyes and your mind and look. That's delusion.
@tannhaus Because I HAVE NO REASON TO! What about that do you not understand? I don't give the guy an ounce of credibility! Same as you! You can blow your hot air all over the internet all day tannhaus, and I really don't care! You shown your colors by your actions and words. You are no religious scholar and that makes you even more dangerous! You have a POOR understanding of Christianity and want to tell people you were a minister? What alternate universe are you from?
@BlueFireWitch yep. I did my videos about myths about Crowley as a response. They are deceived and then deceive each other. So much deception... outright lying, bearing false witness...all spurred on by ego. And WE are supposedly the ones on the "dark side" HA!
It's just ridiculous. But, as I've said before...that's the spirit of the antichrist that the early Christians warned about. They weren't idiots. They knew people like this...full of ego, hatred, etc. were on the way

@BlueFireWitch I agree. It's gotten a lot better. But, a lot better than on the verge of getting lynched....still pretty bad
