@DomRose1973 Actually, the entire system of European power politics, including WW1, Versailles, colonialism, anti-Jewish bigotry, etc. was both immoral and dangerous. That is why after WW2, the U.S. insisted on the occupation of Germany and Japan, helped rebuild them with Marshall Plan aid, and eschewed coolective blame in favour of justice and compensation for genuine victims. Its overall attitude was Christian and decent, and served as an example of the U.S at its best.
