You might think that your memory is there to help you remember facts, such as birthdays or shopping lists. If so, you would be very wrong. The ability to travel back in time in your mind is, perhaps, your most remarkable ability, and develops over your lifespan.

Horizon takes viewers on an extraordinary journey into the human memory. From the woman who is having her most traumatic memories wiped by a pill, to the man with no memory, this film reveals how these remarkable human stories are transforming our understanding of this unique human ability.

The findings reveal the startling truth that everyone is little more than their own memory.

  • @shore02081 many do...

  • Hey shore02... dont be stupid. You suppress your memories you dont lose them. If your grandfather had good memory he must have excersize it alot.

It's like being old and having pretty skin you just take good care of it.

IGNORANT! you shouldn't say things you dont know about

  • @shore02081 Your basis your whole reply on 1 person and swearing. Which shows your quite dim witted, as you would know to make a conclusion like that 1. IT is also an opinion, you mention his memory was as sharp as 27 at 86, how do you know 100% it was fact he was telling you and not fictional based on factual routene events. how would u explain Alzheimer' not to mention the video says "Some of us" not "All of us"

  • You don't lose your fuckin memory! My grandfather was 86 and his memory was sharp as a 27 year old!

  • questions on how ethical these trials are need to be looked at. I sincerely hope there have been plenty of trials on animals. There is no direct way of targetting only that one memory. there will be memories while under the effect of the drug that will inevitabely come up. also here's hoping that it doesn't affect the unconscious memories other wise she will most certainly forget how to write and function as efficiently!!!
