"Denying the holocaust means trying to make other people believe that there is a world-wide conspiracy against the truth"
Who said you need to have a "conspiracy" for certain aspects of the Holocaust to be false? Experts have made the wrong conclusion based on the available data many times in the past--planetary motion and Piltdown Man come to mind--without any "conspiracy" being involved.
Who's involved in this "conspiracy", who are they targeting and why are they doing it???

Well the things is, you don't need active work to believe in the Holocaust. It is very easy. Everyone believes it, so there is tons of support out there. I do think that many questions about it are unanswered. I went to Auschwitz earlier this year, there was a lot of stuff about it that did not add up to me. The whole tour was propoganda, anyone could tell you that. Anyway I think we should drop it, I mean come on Jews, boo-frickity-hoo we get it already. Let my people go!

Free speech huh? All 30 of denierbud's videos were banned on youtube, and your pathetic, half thumb-down, baseless "debunking" videos get to stay huh?
Free speech is for all, or for none. Do you think denierbud should be able to post his oneThird series that you debunk?

Is it possible to murder 20.000 people and cremate them in a 24hour period in 5 crematoriums ? That's what we are being led to believe is true .. Seriously ,,is it any wonder we find it hard to believe ? The Russians and Red Cross released the Death books .. It contradicted the so called official figures .. The Red Cross said sorry after and changed their story ... I believe their first account !

It's a pity that a petition for free speech has to be so overloaded with self-indulgent political rhetoric. I suppose someone as vain as Singer just can't help himself.

Well to be perfectly honest I believe that Jews are to blame for the Holocaust, as they made it up. Search for a guy by the name of Ben Hecht. I will write more later, I have to go this second.

Nice try! You are talking to Jews (in collective). Either you think that I'm a Jew or you would like to say that in Auschwitz or elsewhere Jews are making propaganda for "their version" of the holocaust. Anyway both theories are ridiculous and I wonder what it has to do with people who are denying the extermination of other humans. "Let my people go!" Well, you made clear who in your opinion is to blame for the holocaust (reminder).

All holocaust studies have one thing in common: they don't only tell historical stories. They prove all information by documents, pictures, reports of survivors and offenders and further sources. To doubt such scientific results, because somebody doesn't (want to) believe in the survivors and evidences or has "questions", has nothing to do with an interest in the truth. It's simply comfortable to prefer conspiracy theories instead of things which need an active work in order to understand them.
Laws against holocaust denial would not be necessary if libel and slander, including criminal libel and slander, were enforced.
By saying that the holocaust did not happen they are slandering the victims and therefore should be open to private prosecution, or class action. As this is unlikely it is the responsibility of the state to protect the victims.

Alan, the basic rights of a human DO INCLUDE their ability to spout whatever garbage they wish. It doesn't matter if it's a load of stinking BS - it's their human right. Or else we step into territory where ideas that are disliked and offensive are hidden, banned. It is not the responsibility of the state to represent any of the victims of any massacre. It isn't their responsibility to ban an idea that is ludicrous. Free speech is one of the most important elements of an advanced society.
