I gotta ask are you fretting the upper-strings as an anchor for vibrato and the melody is played entirely with the slide, or are you fretting and plucking them without the slide in some instances?

Where did you learn how to play slide? I can't find any good videos or site that teach how to play slide. Great video btw.

Listening to records is how I started. There are a lot of good slide video's on youtube if you look around.

I use martin mediums myself. Then I tune the guitar down to a D. If I want to play in E I just use a capo at the second fret.
