The Tugela camp lies on the Limpopo river, the border between South Africa and Botswana. At our arrival there were several crocodiles in the river just below the rooms and terraces which line the steep river banks.
This camp - without phone/TV/radio - is the most peaceful and relaxing place imaginable. Truly amazing!
The area attracts a lot of deer hunters on the South African side. The opposite banks in Botswana are part of a Nature reserve which makes for good animal sightings including elephants that came through at night - we could not see them but the noise of breaking trees was unmistakable.
