  • always wanted this gun but in the original one this is cool but not same thing. love guns from that time frame they were made for real men not ones who bitch over every detail of the gun. or everything else in life they just dealt with it.

  • @21danger21 lol true!

  • Make a quality 9mm or 45acp MP5 replica and I'd consider it, but I have zero interest in this.

  • @YokoWenis yea me neither, but some people love this crap.

  • They have to screw it up and make it a 22 , why can't we have the original caliber

  • @Acefearkiller one in 7.62x39 or 5.56 would be cool for sure. GSG is weird.

I thought that you could make the 7.92x33 from the 8mm Mauser using a set of form and trim dies. Not easy as you'd have to cut out excess brass in the formed cases mouth but doable.

  • @wcropp1 ah derrp you think they wouldn't if our importation laws weren't so strict? BD in germany makes a real stg44 but can't import

  • sell in 2x4 construction crate - sell at exhorbanant price! lol

  • @Acefearkiller Some Europeain Countries only allow Semi Auto Rifles in .22

GSG is a Europe based company so maybe they were trying to make a product they can sell to the US Market and ones in Europe

  • @wcropp1 In an ideal world, though, we would have the .22 as a trainer, and a real one--now go make the real one GSG. And a real MP-5 clone too, while you're at it.

  • I really want an STG-44, but I'm pretty sure shooting much 7.92x33 would put me in the poor house. I guess this is where they got the idea for a .22 version--I would certainly like to have one, but I'm not sure I'd buy one. Someone needs to make a real one in collaboration with an ammo company to make the 7.92x33, though I'm sure it still wouldn't be too cheap. Nonetheless, I think collectors would rather have a real gun that's expensive to shoot than a replica they can plink with.

  • @wnyvideo I was thinking the exact same thing as soon as i saw this.

  • If they - GSG - produced this in 7.62 x 39, used a chrome lined barrel, and adapted it to use standard AK magazines, they would not be able to make them quick enough.... Who wouldn't want that set up?

  • That's fuckin expensive for a .22 but ight!

  • @MrJp990 I probably wouldn't like it because ammo would be rare, and when you come across it would be expensive because its rare
