  • Who arrests an 8-year-old anyway??? WTF.

And why wouldn't they let her wear her cute cow hoodie? D: D: That's the kind of random reasonless stuff that pissed ME off as a kid too, but at least I never got arrested, Jesus...

  • I am insulted. My niece is Autistic. People just don't understand them and instead of trying to, they make crazy decisions and work against them. She is just a child.

  • @matthew67111 Well, that's great and all. It really is. I have AS as well and I'm glad my parents didn't go soft on me because of it too. But there's tough love and then there's stuff that just has no purpose. She was a kid, she was going to a party.. there's no reason she couldn't wear whatever she wanted. Kids understand tough love if they understand the reason, but if you teach them there doesn't need to be a reason, you can mess them up. Rules should make sense, even for a kid.

  • @GuacamoleKun Well honestly I grew up with asperger but on the more severe end. The reason why I came out semi normal instead just sitting alone is because my parents gave me tough love. They would make me say hello, make eye contact etc. Now they understood my needs and were very good to me. Now I dont think this was right and this could have been handled much better but she needs to follow rules so she can grow up to be successful. Because of that tough-love I design Eco friendly locomotives.

  • The assulted her first, she fought back in self defence.

  • @ThatGuyYouArent2 Soooo freaking true. Its not hard to understand that I am gonna act different yet people still get upset at me...one person told me I need to get over this asptergers stuff cause I didnt wanna do something last minute.

  • @zaper684 There you go. Your autistic you would think that im stupid.

  • @THELOLMANCOOL really? seriously dude? im autistic and even i think you're just being stupid

  • @zaper684

I wouldn't really call autism a disability, but yeah, I totally see where you're coming from. Sadly, autism is one of the most difficult mental (well, actually neurological) conditions to understand, and most 'normal' people simply don't want to take the time and effort to get any kind of grip on it.

It angers me - if people tried to understand just a few basics of autism, autistic individuals could lead much happier lives.

  • I-I-Im sorry assburger syndrom?

  • Why didn't they just let her wear her hoodie?
