Civic was build by Honda for gas saving not for drag racing. But this Civic is FAST.

The 240 didn't get a good launch, and it had some turbo lag!!

the civic won by such a large margin because it was on drag tires and the 240 wasnt getting much traction...that being said I think the civic would have still won if the 240 did get traction.

My LSVTEC in my 89 Crx SI runs a 9.x, its running 16 psi and nothing else. Has cams pistons etc. 20'' front end tires. Hole inside is scraped other than front seats. rear tires are still 14's haha.
Has just over 400 hp to the flywheel.
Honda's kick ass. that is all.

@stageblood1 nah bro i'm just stating my opinion. I myself own a 240. I think honda is garbage. that's my opinion deal with it.

that s14 dosent belong on the drag strip, its supposed to be getting sideways in a drift event .
