As we celebrate this anniversary, it is important to remember that while we have the vote, we still do not have adequate representation in our State and National legislative bodies. The U.S. is #73 in representation of women. While women are more than half of our population, we have 17% representation in the U.S. Congress. I think we can agree that women in office make a difference in public policy. Our election system is outdated. Countries that elect more women use proportional voting systems
