  • you obviously dont give the intelligence, and inquisitiveness of children enough credit. I for one got into comics when i was ten. Children have a thirst for good stories, and colorfull characters and this is something the medium of comics as ALWAYS offered. I think pre-teen, 10 and up is where they start to get into it. But there are exceptions. I drew my first character in 3rd grade based on a Dan Jurgens book. 3rd grade = 8 yrs old. Your generalizations have no way of being proven.

  • btw I meant to type: "at a young age" in my 1st post

  • And I believe its in their teens their most likely to buy comics because like you said, no child is ever going to read a comic book because it has tons of words in them that they wont understand (due to the fact its science fiction) and lets face it. Most of us didnt find reading fun. Not to mention the fact that comics try to promote sex to teens with women with hour glass shaped bodies and a busty chest. And the reason for this is because in our teens, us boys start getting interested in girls

  • I COMPLETELY agree BUT this (at least to me) is how Marvel/DC get future readers. Expose their popular characters (Spider-Man/BatMan) at young, and when these little kids who wore the t-shirts and action figures grow up into teens, they WILL eventually buy the Comics.......

  • good points. good video. good job

  • @xxpatrickizradxx It could possibly be because of your grammar. You should lean to punctuate your sentences.

  • I think it's more than just the movies. It's also the video games and toys.

  • @xxpatrickizradxx It's probably your vocabulary.

  • how does it not make sense
