Labor and Delivery

Clips of my labor with Leah Jayden and some clips from after! They wouldn't let us film her birth :( But you can tell the pitocin was NOT fun for me! And the epidural was AMAZING! There are more clips from DIRECTLY after she was born if you click the link in the beginning of the video!!

@ maggielou2010 the nurses should help you with all your questions as soon as your in the hospital. dont worry theres always someone there to help you.

@miba5313 That is true, but it is not a good idea to ever go into a situation without previous research. I would NEVER suggest someone just go to a hospital and expect that because someone is going to help them they should not do research. There are many options and it's important to know the pros and cons and risks of everything!

this is probably gonna sound stupid but... how did it feel to get the epidural? did it hurt? or feel like a pinch or a sting?? im 28 wks n 4 days (i turn a week every thursday too :)) n im super nervous about labor... my pain tolerance is very low lol you handled it really well!!!

@missmaggielou2010 With the epidural there was a small pinch when they give you the initial shot to numb the area, so that they can insert the catheter. It was not bad at all and SO worth it haha. Don't be nervous. Make sure you know your options of what is available to you for pain... and make your choices about it before you go in. If you wanna know more about it maybe I will make a video on the pain medication options.

@TheMissJess13 They didn't let us film because the hospital was undergoing renovations and we had to give birth in the delivery room... now you give birth in your own labor/delivery room and you can film. It's for liability reasons :(

Not to be rude, I would have socked my husband right across the mouth if he had the same voice as your husband and kept irritating me like this! OMG! Poor you. Thanks for posting this video though!

damn remember when they would keep you in the hospital for a least a week or so..now soon as you drop that load they got your bags packed at the door like yeah congrats you aint gotta go home ...but you loool

lol im so sorry but this made me laugh out loud. When your huband would talk to you and you would just stare at him bc of the pain. I know that's how I will be too like, "dont...talk" hahaha
