  • Well that vinyls going to be a bastard to get up...

  • HOW NOT TO DO A FLOOR

  • @torah033 Judging by your comment you don't lay floors and do not know how to make/use a template.

  • @gucciman604 I assume you referring to the dips and imperfections in the concrete slab. There is a product similar to cement that is the proper solution to the problem. We call it Patch in the industry but otherwise known as feather finish. The best brand to buy is Ardex. We use them for all commercial work such as Hospitals, Corporate offices, Schools and even Government buildings. It is mixed similar to cement using only water. You spread is with a trowel, Simple enough. Hope that helps.

  • @sbrobin1 Not all adhesives have an open time. A lot depends on the material being installed, the floor itself whether porous or non-porous and the trowel you are using. I work as an installer for Shaw Flooring and we do just about every type of flooring. So if you have any questions feel free to ask. I will say that there were A LOT of errors in this video. First being that she did no remove the toilet. Next she is kneeling down on the glued side before rolling it, this will cause air bubbles.

  • why didn't the woman mention that you';re supposed to allow the adhesive to cure and get tacky for about 30 minutes before laying down the floor? Complete failure

  • damn...glad i read these comments! Was about to lay my vinyl similar to this lady but with tape and not glue...Think I'll get a fitter in to do my bathroom!!

  • im concerned about why she didnt mention leaving the adhesive open to get tacky before laying the floor..people looking at this video trying to do it themselves may skip that part and just lay the floor on top of the glue and it'll never dry

  • @gucciman604 theyre are different sizes of wax rings just use the one thats right for your application

  • @EBOWARRIOR always remove kumode when possible or vinyl will start to peel up with water damage not hard at all just remember to replace wax ring !!!!
